Finding Confidence in Your Voice
When I started podcasting, I had a lot of doubts and a lack of confidence in myself and my voice. It’s completely normal to feel this way. However, we don’t have to stay stuck in that place. I don’t want your doubts and fears to be the thing that keeps you from sharing your story and getting your voice onto a podcast.
Remember, you have a unique voice and story and it is begging to be heard! I believe that there is room for everyone in the podcasting space and if you are feeling unsure about your message and voice, we are here for you.
Here are some ways you can start to build confidence in your voice as a podcaster:
Get rid of the doubts. Write them down and cross them out. Remember You are You and there is only one you with your perspective. Don’t let your worries hold you back.
Really get to know your listeners. Who are they and what do they need right now? This is going to help you so much as you start to develop content and figure out exactly what you need to share.
Practice speaking and recording. It’s the only way you are going to get better right? And remember, your first episode doesn’t have to be perfect. This is a journey and you will grow and evolve as you go!
Working on finding your mission statement and really connecting with who your listeners are will help you tremendously going forward and I created a worksheet that will do just that. Sign up below to grab it!
